At a distance, the Celtic skull and crossbones is something that seems known, familiar.

But seen closely - intimately - it's full of twists and turns and spiky bits. It's not what it seemed to be.

You back away. But you still know that what's inside isn't what you thought it was.

Which makes it a bit like you, doesn't it? Or like that special person you know, or who you'd like to know, or who cut you dead last night at the bar around the corner.

I may (or may not) be forgiven for mixing up my Pirates of the Caribbean with Celtic Art. The fact is, the knotwork Skull and Crossbones is one of those things that just ought to exist. And now, it does.
