Orders for merchandise from 'Celtic Art & Retro-Futuristic Design' are filled by Cafepress. They're billed and shipped separately from merchandise ordered through the other vendors who supply 'The Retropolis Transit Authority' and 'The Retropolis Travel Bureau'.
The high resolution illustrations that I create for these posters (and for my archival prints) have always been the cornerstone - well, for me, anyhow - of my online ventures.
Along the way I've done a lot of other things and some of those - especially my Retropolis Transit Authority T-shirts - have become so popular that they've eclipsed these pictures. But they're still what it's all about, if you ask me.
So in the middle of whatever else I work on during the year I make some time - a lot of time, I guess - to go pretty deep into my Future That Never Was, and create a big, ambitious image that I hope looks more like a traditional illustration than like a 3D rendering.
My 3D tools are just a means to create that illusion of a detailed traditional illustration. I've never wanted to be a camera.
